Center Point Assembly

Pastor Mike is in the process of wrapping his series on Priorities as we discuss the Striving to Thriving aspect of learning what it means to establish Godly priorities as Paul taught. It seems at times that the striving may not be worth it, but we're encouraged to stay the course and remain persistent knowing that God is in control and as we strive to seek Him our striving will not be in vain. Priorities - we all have them and through them, we are who we are. The discussion today revolves around the importance of making our priorities based upon the Word of God and also establishing them while we are in the good times of life before we get into the heat of the battle. Think through this carefully, if we wait until the temptation or the trial is already upon us before we are fully convin...

We live in a world that is bombarding us with many versions of truth all promising us fullness and prosperity of life. But as we look at scripture we see a different path, and this can be confusing. So today we are searching for truth and balance in life when it comes to our priorities and our choices. We begin by saying that God wants us to enjoy life on this earth, but to what extent do we go to...

We've spent much time defining and explaining God's Harvest Laws and today we prove them all to be true by examining the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. He clearly understood that a "seed" had to be planted if there was going to be a "harvest" of men's souls. Amazingly He was willing to be that "seed", that was His purpose in becoming a man. The Laws are all fulfilled through His obedience,...

Wrapping up the series of "The laws of the Harvest" we finish with the hardest one, the Law of Interval. The reason that this is the hardest is because it deals with "time", something that we can't control. This law says that there is time between the sowing and the reaping and this requires that we develop patience in the process. We live in a fast-paced society and time is not always our friend,...

This is the third of four Laws of the Harvest and this one deals with Increase. It only makes sense that we would expect an increase on the investment and not simply a one-to-one return. This is consistent with the goodness of God, that as we give He provides the increase. We serve a very generous God that provides not only the seed but the increase on the seed all for His glory, so it should be a...

This is a special opportunity to have Doyle Dykes share his gift of guitar and the message. We had a technical problem with the Amplifier so Doyle plays "unplugged" and he is still absolutely amazing. The word he shares is about God's timing and His provision. His provision is always there without limit, however, His timing is often waiting on us to be ready to receive. This is a message for us to...

After taking a few weeks off, Pastor Mike is picking on the 2nd Law of the Harvest and that being the Law of Identity. This law means just what it says - One reaps in like kind with what one sows. We will find that this law is in all aspects of our lives so it is well that take this very seriously. God is not mocked and He clearly identifies in our text, especially by mere mortals. Here it is, if...
