Center Point Assembly

We're getting to the end of our study on the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. Today we are speaking on the "Fruit of Self-Control". This is a message that is timely to the situation that we find our country in. So much unrest and social issues primarily because people are not exercising Self-Control. However, as we have discovered in all of our study on the Fruit of the Spirit, this requires a "supernatu...

The reason we've been speaking about the person of the Holy Spirit for so many weeks is to build up to Pentecost Sunday. This is the day that the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples and close followers of Jesus in that upper room. They were waiting for the "gift" of the Holy Spirit that Jesus told them about on a few different occasions. Most recently, Jesus instructed them ten days prior...

Staying in our series "Understanding the Holy Spirit" we are talking about the Fruit of the Spirit today, namely the Fruit of Gentleness. What I have found so interesting is that I thought the Fruit of Kindness, Goodness and Gentleness would be the quickest and easiest ones to speak about, in fact I considered lumping them all into one sermon. But I'm so glad that I didn't. If God felt them necess...

Pastor MIke is continuing in the series of the Holy Spirit with a study today on the Fruit of Faithfulness. God is faithful above all things in life. There is nothing more than we can count on than the faithfulness of God. As God created us in His perfect image, He is intending for us to follow in His example of Faithfulness. In fact, the act of being faithful is one of the most important characte...

Pastor Tyler, Family LIfe Pastor at CPA talks to us about the Mission of the Church and how the Church is to impact the community we live in. In this time of Covid-19, the youth of our church welcome us and tell us why they miss meeting together as a "church body". Pastor Tyler encourages us with a good word about how we are to reach out and "be the arms and feet of Jesus" as the church and when w...

As we go back into our series on the Fruit of Spirit we talk about the Fruit of Goodness. Mankind understands goodness in relation to what we think good is by a comparison model. In other words, we compare things according to our likes and dislikes and than determine if it's good or bad. The Fruit of the Spirit called Goodness, is the standard of God's Goodness or His Holiness by which all things...

In this time of so much fear and unrest from this Covid-19 virus - having Peace is something everyone is seeking. What we find today is the peace the world offers is not lasting. Many say they have peace, but it's a worldly peace because their life isn't in disarray - they have money in the bank, their job is secure, they're healthy, etc. But take that away and if they don't have a true relationsh...

Easter - What a special Christian Holiday! It is the End Point or the Finishing Point of Christmas. These are the two Bench Marks of the Christian Faith. Christmas - Jesus comes as a baby to give a promise and a hope, Easter - Jesus dies and rises from the dead and thus He fulfills the promise and the hope. However, as important as these two special days are - the real crux of the matter happens b...
