Center Point Assembly

Sunday, February 5, 2023 - The message today is "Preparing to Run the Race." Whether it's a 100-yard dash or a 26-mile marathon, running a race requires preparation. Being properly prepared is the key to finishing, let alone winning. Similarly, preparing to run the "Christian race" requires adequate preparation. It's safe to say that many people that have given up on the Christian race probably we...

Sunday, January 29, 2023 - Due to computer issues, it took a little longer than normal to get Sunday's message online. This week we are talking about a topic that probably no one likes to discuss. "Accountability". When we read scripture, we see God created mankind to live a life of accountability. Yet, the flesh man in all of us rebels against the thought. We like to be our own boss, and that mea...

Sunday, January 22, 2023 - The message today is simple: "Pay Attention or Drift Away," yet how many underestimate the danger of casually drifting along in life without a care in the world? Humanity's inclination is one that, given its course, results in growing separation from God. It's a result of the curse of sin that everyone is born with that chooses to wander away from God, not toward Him. Ev...

Sunday, January 15, 2023 - We're studying the Parable of the Persistent Widow in today's service. Prayer is a mysterious wonder of God, don't you agree? Sometimes it's easy to approach God during our prayer time, and other times it's a battle. Sometimes we can feel the presence of God like He's sitting in the room with us; other times, our prayers don't make it past the ceiling. Can you relate to...

Sunday, January 8, 2023 - As we are beginning a new year, this is always a time of reflection on old things passing and new things ahead. The writer of Hebrews understands how things change from old seasons to new seasons, especially considering how Jesus fulfilled the OLD covenant of yearly animal sacrifices with the NEW covenant of His blood atoning for mankind's sin. Think about the early churc...

Sunday, December 11, 2022 - We are finishing up our study on Revelation 22, emphasizing the last words spoken to humanity by God.
