There is growing concern about the church’s influence (or lack thereof) in our communities and world. But God created us not only to make a difference, but to rule, and He believes we can do it! Pastor Mike just began a series on HEROES in the Bible, emphasizing they are "Just Like Us." Really? Who believes "I am the same as Moses, David, Ruth, or Paul?" The first hero we heard about was Moses. As Pastor Mike was talking about Moses' power encounter with God in the burning bush (Exodus 3), he pointed out that God introduced Himself as "I Am that I Am." Easter is a really big deal. If the resurrection is true, then everything hangs on this. The resurrection of Jesus is what launched the church. It is what birthed all of Christianity. History points to this remarkable moment and invites us to ask the question, “What do you believe?” Was Jesus the Son of God, overcoming the grave? This Easter we invite you to, “Believe Again.”
