July 16, 2024 - Faithful get to touch relics of St. Gianna Molla at OLV Basilica 16.07.2024

An estimated 50 guests attending a veneration of St. Gianna Molla's relics were given the opportunity to actually touch them, with no protective glass or other surface in the way. Dr. Gianna Emanuela Molla was among those in attendance, as she continued a visit to Western New York celebrating the legacy of her mother, the patron saint of physicians, mothers, and unborn children.

Dr. Gianna Emanuela Molla, daughter of St. Gianna Beretta Molla (patron saint of physicians, mothers, and unborn children) was a special guest Thursday, July 11, 2024 as the eighth and newest St. Gianna Molla Pregnancy Outreach Center was opened within the Diocese of Buffalo, in Holley, New York.

July 2, 2024 - Nearly 60 students gather for Summer Intensive Faith Formation 02.07.2024

Teens affiliated with parishes in the Diocese of Buffalo's Parish Family #7 have just completed a five-day faith formation program which allowed them to learn about different perspectives, some local Catholic faith history, and about service. WNY Catholic Audio was there as the participants learned, for example, about poverty which exists in their own community and the need to take it on.

Michael Hahn, Michael Katilus, and Anthony Vilardo were ordained as permanent deacons during a Mass held Saturday, June 8 in St. Joseph Cathedral. Bishop Michael Fisher celebrated the Mass, joined by priests, deacons, and attended by family and friends of the newest deacons.

Venerable Father Nelson Baker, whose legacy includes Our Lady of Victory Basilica and several charitable institutions, is featured in a new comic book that will be distributed free to local Catholic schools. Dozens of students were the first to receive copies during a visit to the basilica Tuesday, June 4.
