Catholic 4 Rednecks

Just wanted to share a word with those of you that are subscribing to the Catholic4rednecks podcast!!!! In other words, this episode is not on YouTube but especially for podcast listeners!!! It’s hard to tell who all listens or subscribes here on the pod because it’s hosted by so many different platforms and there’s not really a place to leave comments and my email crashed, so who all is out here...

One day at Mass, I started to have a few doubts about my decision to become Catholic, but God winked instantly, and the doubts vanished! (trigger alert, the gold stamp, that same exact number, was stamped that same number from the factory on every edition of that book)

Just a few words of wisdom from a 60 year old that has worked out all of his life, with nothing to show for it except for painful injuries

Born in Chicago, goes to college at the University of Alabama, then Nebraska, then goes on a trip to Germany and visits the Cathedral, got goosebumps and everything, so he decides to become Catholic! Yes, the Beauty of Catholicism sweeps many off of their feet!!!

How do two Southerners meet up, get married, and become On Fire Catholics in rural Alabama? This is a great story!

This is my Niece! She is a Military Veteren, former Law Enforcement, and lives way out in California! I just wanted to call her up and ask her about what the Catholic Church is all about, in her opnion!

Marisa, lie many of us, was raised in Church but began to drift off during her college years. And like many of us who get lost along the way, God sent her a vivid dream about Haeven.

Having been born and raised Southern Baptist & Pentecostal, back in the 70s' & 80's, we were always hearing about the secret coming of Jesus to rescue believer from the Great Tribulation! They called it The Rapture, and it sold millions and millions  of books and movies! Brainwashed an entire generation of Christians with NEW revelations never before taught in the ENTIRE HISTORY OF CHRISTIANITY !!...

These are two very controversial topics among Catholics. I probably see it differently than most folks. I do not have any tattoos myself, and I  quit taking Yoga Classes during Covid, BUT.............. 

Growing up Southern Baptist & Pentecostal, smoking & drinking we’re considered to be grave sins, like fornication & dancing !!!!!

Many believers yearn for a basic grassroots fellowship with fellow believers. Many times we wondered while reading the Book of Acts what it would be like to have gone to church like they did, and experience worship as they worshipped. But, guess what? Those Early Christians left a ton of writings behind for us to read and reading them reveals that they immediately had a Leadership, called service...
