We all search for something to make life meaningful.  What if the answer was right in front of us all along?  What if Easter actually shows us the Way?

"Those who do not learn from history are destined to repeat it."  Exodus 15 starts with a song of worship in response to Israel's deliverance.  Then, we find the Hebrews entering a cycle that will repeat for 40 years in the wilderness.  And from their story, we can learn from history — and avoid repeating their mistakes.

God is relentlessly answering the question of Pharaoh (and us), "Who is the Lord, that I should listen to his voice?"  And God's answer may be surprisingly good news!

What do you do when God speaks to you?  Exodus 7 is the story of how 2 individuals respond when God's Word comes to them:  Moses & Pharaoh.  How they respond has everything to do with what happens next.

Moses is walking proof that "God does His best work in impossilbe situations."  In chapter 6, we find our unlikely hero hearing from God and stepping forward in faith, despite a broken past and a shaky faith.  

Israel has begun to have hope for the first time in a long.  But in chapter 5, hope is crushed.  How do we survive disappointment?  

When have you felt closest to God?  In Exodus 3, God reveals himself as both above (transcendent) and here with us (immanent).  He is the "I AM" and we get to proclaim, "I'm with Him!"

Exodus is the story of God.  We see Him make a way for his people --- often in surprising fashion!  Yet, there are moments when we wonder if God is going to come through for us.  This message from Exodus 2 reminds us that God sees and God knows.

Today we will explain the understanding of Joy and how we can find it despite the circumstances around us.  Our Savior came to earth 2000 years ago and His works have sent out an eternal shock wave of Joy.  How do you find your  life lost in His Joy?

Peace.  Everybody wants it, few of us seems to have it.  Messiah is promised to be the Prince of Peace and to bring us peace with God.  Pastor Nate continues the Advent season from Isaiah 61 and Luke 4.  

At the start of Advent season, we're reminded that the way of Jesus is radically counter-cultural!  Isaiah predicted that Messiah would appear as a "Suffering Servant" and that the "way up is down."

The origin story of the Church ends in Acts 28.  Or does it?  Is it possible that you/I are living out Acts 29 as Jesus continues to change lives through his people?  Nothing can stop the Gospel!  

The Apostle Paul was the greatest church planter in history.  And at the end of his 3rd planting trip, he says farewell to likely his favorite church.  In Acts 20, we get a glimpse into the heart of a leader who is relentlessly focused on giving his life away for the sake of others.  From Paul, we are encouraged to "live to give."

The early days of the church experienced exponential growth.  The church in certain persecuted countries currently experience similar rates of growth.  When we realize that we are "The Sent" we will see exponential growth in our country.

What does it take to become a "real" Christian?  Over the years, each culture and generation has said, "Believe in Jesus."  And then subltly added, "And follow the rules."  In Acts 10-11, God shows Peter that Jesus died for everyone.  Even those from different backgrounds than ours.

The Apostle Paul was a world-changer.  Arguably, he was the greatest church planter to ever live.  But he didn't start out the way we remember him.  From his salvation story, we are reminded that God can and will use anyone!  Because God doesn't call the prepared -- he prepares the called.

The hope of the world is Jesus Christ.  And God has chosen to use his Church to carry the message of Jesus.  Which is sort of crazy -- because the church is made up of people who are ordinary, broken and in process.  What was God thinking?  The New Testament book of Acts tells the story.

Before we can ever accomplish God's plan for the church, we must first engage in what it takes to actually be the church.
