Jesus didn’t just teach us how to live… He showed us. And when we follow His example in the small things, it starts to change everything.

Sometimes God trims things back in our lives, and it can feel like loss. But He’s not taking away without purpose… He’s making room for something new to grow.

Jesus knew Judas would betray Him… and still gave him a seat at the table. That kind of grace means there’s room for you too.

Mercy isn’t easy… especially when it’s not deserved. But Jesus says when we give mercy, we receive it too.

Surrender doesn’t just happen in big moments… it shows up in the small, everyday choices. Choosing patience, letting go, and trusting God.

The things we hear and see repeated are the things that stick with us. That makes me wonder… what am I reinforcing for the next generation?

Fairness means getting what we deserve. Grace means receiving what we could never earn. That’s why the gospel is such good news.

It’s easy to love people who are kind to us. Jesus calls us to something deeper… loving even the people who are hard to love.

We often say “there’s always tomorrow.” But every day we live is also one less day. That reminder makes me want to make the most of the time God has given me.

I thought I was going to teach my son about the Bible while we sat in a pharmacy line… but God used him to teach me instead. 

Lots of voices online say “follow me.” Jesus says it too – but His invitation isn’t about content. It’s about a life that leads to eternity.

Being rich doesn’t always mean having more money. The Bible says to let the word of Christ dwell in you richly… because when life gets hard, God’s truth is what carries you through.

Sometimes we need someone in our life who can lovingly say, “Hey… remember what God showed you?” Accountability isn’t always comfortable, but it can be a real gift.

A little boy at a baseball game gave away the home run ball he caught… and it reminded me how proud a father feels when he sees generosity. God loves a cheerful giver.

Sometimes we make our plans and then ask God to bless them. But the doors He opens are always better. When God opens a door, no one can shut it.

It’s easy to focus on the routine, but God is after the heart.

The world has been feeling pretty heavy lately. I’m reminding myself today that I don’t have to carry the anxiety - I can give it to God and let His peace guard my heart.

Ever told someone you’d pray for them… and then forgot? I've done that too. But prayer isn’t just a kind response. It’s a promise to carry someone before God.

We can’t argue our way into heaven… but God made a way through Jesus. 

Not every thought you have is true. When a thought doesn’t line up with what God says about you, you don’t have to keep it.

Strength doesn’t always come from comfort or full stomachs. Sometimes God meets us in the quiet spaces and reminds us where real strength comes from.

Jesus kept His promise to rise again… and He will keep His promise to return. If you’re waiting on God today, remember: He keeps His word.

Olympians don’t get there by accident. A strong faith doesn’t either - it grows through small, daily choices to stay close to God.

We don’t usually run away from God… we drift. The good news is He welcomes us back, one small step at a time
