Card Talk

This encounter set seems to be filled with cards that new players could find intimidating.  Oh yeah, this is the set where they brought a hill troll... okay... two of them!

This support character can quest for 4 and only costs 2 spirit. He may make some Rohan decks sing... but he probably can find places in other decks.  But the fact that he is one and done can be frustrating. Which side of the fence do you fall on?

Sometimes you need a card to round out your deck. Is this the card for you?

In this episode of Encounter Card Talk, we talk about the first scenario encounter set from the core set.  Passage through Mirkwood is like a tutorial scenario and is great fun, but it does contain some exciting cards. 

The actual Steward of Gondor makes his first appearance in Card Talk with his lore version from the core set. He's low threat and a stout defender. His ability? Weeeellllll.... what do you think?
