Kevin Beach has been a charter captain in Venice for over 25 years and is owner of The Mexican Gulf Fishing Company. We sat down and had a podcast the night before his first day back of the 2022 fishing season. It sure was a fun one! 

Dr Marcus Drymon is an ecologist, and his job as assistant extensions professor at Mississippi State University is to make applicable, science-based solutions usable to coastal marine anglers, both commercial and recreational. He also does a ton of research on sharks and the role they play in the environment. It was a fun podcast and very informative. Enjoy!

Krissy Wejebe is the daughter of fishing legend and television of the Spanish Fly, Josè Wejebe. Captain Paul Miller got to sit down and get to know her while she was on a fishing trip to Venice. Talked a lot about her dad and past stories as well as the future of the Spanish Fly Foundation.   

Captain Kyle Johnson is an inshore charter captain on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He is also involved with The Speckled Truth podcast and a huge advocate for conservation. Angelos Apeitos is the hatchery manager at the University of Southern Mississippi’s research laboratory, located in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. I was given the opportunity to have Angelos give me a tour of the facility and I got to see the massive 14lb speckled trout that they have raised at the research lab. Getting to know Angelos and learning from a guy like him was truly an awesome experience....

Donnie Jackson is a charter fisherman out of Venice, Louisiana, however, on this episode, I went to the Golden Nugget in Biloxi, Mississippi where Donnie had just won $283,000 and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic!  I got the chance to interview him directly after the award ceremony that Sunday evening, and the story is pretty awesome!  Give it a listen!
