The new Congress gets to work on Monday and the Electoral College will be confirmed on Tuesday. It will be two very busy weeks before the new President comes in. In the meantime, there is a lot of speculation about deportations and what Cabinet candidates go down in the confirmation process. It will be busy for a couple of weeks.

We spoke in 2013 with Carmen Konneker, author of "My father's quest". It is a great story of her father's life, from losing his parents at an early age, then being separated from his siblings and his eventual move to the US. It is a great story and you should check it out.

We spent a great hour with  Sonia Martinez  and  Marta Darby , a couple of wonderful Cuban ladies who told us about Cuban food.

Guests: We remember 'Los Reyes Magos' and growing up Cuban with Tersi Bendiburg (storyteller) and Amarilys Rassler (author). As kids in Cuba, and the US, we used to get our toys on January 6th, or 'El dia de los Reyes Magos'. It was a wonderful tradition and we all have memories of it.
