The Carolina Hurricanes stunk on ice in DC Thursday night. There's nothing good to really say about it, so...A few thoughts on the game and then an extended conversation with former Hurricanes voice John Forslund. It was an entertaining game. But, the Hurricanes came up a goal short in a 3-2 loss in Minnesota. Carolina made two mistakes early in the third period that led to Wild goals and not even a great game from Andrei Svechnikov could bring them even.
