Janice Washington (1997-01) played five years in Buies Creek as an all-conference point guard and 2000 TAAC champion. Washington then moved over to the bench and coached 10 years under Hall of Fame coach Wanda Watkins, and now serves as the head coach at Daytona State College. The 5-foot-1 point guard ranks 3rd all-time in program assists and an emotional spark plug on the floor.
