David Keddie is a Ruling Elder at Hope Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Lawrenceville, NJ. For almost 20 years, he has served on the staff of Princeton Christian Fellowship, a student ministry at Princeton University. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree at Westminster Theological Seminary.

Phil Henry is the pastor of Mercy Hill Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Glassboro, NJ, which he was called to start by the New Jersey Presbytery in 2009. He was ordained in 2000 and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Seminary in California and a Master of Theology degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. Phil and his wife, Polly, have six grown children.

We come into God's presence to bless him because he first comes into our presence to bless us.

Public worship is God-directed and corporately aware. God commands and directs our worship. Everything we do when we gather should be respectful and orderly.

Jesus removes walls that divide Christians and gives us unity with each other... because his sacrifice first gives us unity with God.

The coming of Jesus began a new era of history where the message of salvation is now explicitly for all nations and languages. The church’s mission is to continue proclaiming that message until Jesus returns.

Love is necessary, permanent, supreme; and it is revealed to us in the character and actions of God in the person of Jesus Christ.

God has designed his church to be a community of individuals—distinct and different, but united and interdependent.

God gives gifts to his church to unite them in celebrating and proclaiming that Jesus is Lord.

Christians are to gather in unity to celebrate and proclaim what Jesus has done. The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is our opportunity to display not just our understanding of Jesus’ sacrifice but our trust in it.

God created men and women equal in dignity and worth as bearers of his image. But he gave them certain different roles in worship and marriage to highlight different aspects of his character and glory.

The magnificence and importance of the gospel allows us to willingly set aside the right to do things our way, for the greater reward of following Jesus together.

The most important two-word phrase in the history of human speech is “But God...” We were dead, but God made us alive because of his grace.

The most important question in the world is: Will you believe what Jesus says about himself?

Our joy is the greatest when Jesus is the greatest.

God’s love leads us to the Light of eternal life.

This is the truth: “Unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Only Jesus can clean up our lives and make us fit for God’s exclusive use.

We search in many places, but only Jesus satisfies our thirst for joy.

Jesus is the one who connects heaven and earth. When he finds us, we find the one we’ve always been seeking.

Jesus is the answer to what we are seeking. Our greatest joy will only be experienced when we are living with him.
