Peter finishes his letter by reminding believers of the soon coming of Jesus. Jesus will bring the Day of the Lord, and with the promise of his coming there will be a New Heavens and a New Earth. Peter reminds the beloved children of God to be ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ. He reminds us that in the last days there will be scoffers that willfully forget what God has promised to those who believe. Pastor: Daniel Hendrickson

False teachers will seek to undermine the sufficiency of Christ or the sufficiency of Scripture, by trying to get us to buy into either legalism or licentiousness. We can protect ourselves from them by walking in grace & looking to the cross. Pastor: Rob Orr
