Jesus' words of encouragement to the church of Smyrna, in the midst of heavy persecution, are still relevant to us today! Pastor Lance encourages those who are in the midst of trials or suffering to stay the course, to remain faithful, and to trust in the Lord to see them through to the end. As He promised to the persecuted church, there is a reward for those who persevere.

Continuing on the message to the church of Ephesus, Pastor Lance hones in on Revelation 2:5: "Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent."

After an awesome time of worship, Pastor Lance elaborated on Sunday's message about the church of Ephesus, and the need for personal revival. We opened up to John 21, where Jesus questioned Peter's love for Him, and we're faced with the same question in our day.

Examining the church of Ephesus, Pastor Lance gives application to the church today. Although they had been busy about the work of the Lord, they had left their first love, and the very Person they were serving. Does God need to revive your love for Him?
