Living with certainty in an uncertain world

The words the Lord has spoken to us over the past few years are current. These words have not expired (no expiration date). Our response is to choose courage in the face of fears, opposition, or crises. We can be strong and courageous because God's presence and present word engender faith in us (Joshua 1:9).

If we are a people of his presence, then, our lives will reflect the values and priorities of the King and his kingdom regarding our finances and stewardship.

The Lord has given us weapons, tools, or skills to disempower strongholds and default ways of being that hinder us from living life the way we were designed to live in Christ.

We are a people who seek to respond well to the Lord when he gives us corporate prophetic words.

Calvary, we are a people who love God and who seek to get in on what the Lord is doing.

Jesus came to bring freedom to the oppressed (Lk. 4:18). Throughout His ministry, Jesus repeatedly confronted a religious system that systematically oppressed and silenced women. 

Pastor Steve shares from his personal devotional times specific words from the Lord that call us to go deeper in God. From Isaiah 33, he shares a number of promises from God that will sustain us during the troubling times in which we live. One vital promise that God spoke comes from Isaiah 33:6, “[God] will be your constant source of stability in changing times…”

Pastor Jeff speaks about the DNA of our Master, the Lord Jesus Christ, which encodes and shapes the very being and nature of Christians.

This weekend, we are believing God for and praying for a fresh move of the Lord, according to Luke 4:18, that will result in many people getting saved, healed, delivered, and encouraged.

Today, we have the privilege of commissioning three new elders at Calvary. In light of that opportunity, I want to share with you some of our vision and values regarding leadership at Calvary. And, I want to celebrate different ones who help Calvary to be a healthy body and a beautiful bride for the Lord Jesus Christ.
