Jesus came to offer good news to everyone. Yet there are many in the advent stories who treat his coming as if it were bad news. Does God have a purpose in all the strange details, setbacks, sufferings, and temptations of your life? Romans 8:29 tells us God's purpose for every Christian in a way that gives meaning to all the peculiarities of our lives and fills us with hope.
