When God’s Word takes root in receptive hearts, God Himself goes to work—revealing truth, producing growth, and expanding His work in ways beyond what we can control, predict, or even imagine.

Jesus begins His parables with a call to listen. In the Parable of the Sower, He shows that God’s Word is powerful and life-giving, but its impact depends on the condition of our heart. Today, we’re invited to examine whether our hearts are truly receptive to Jesus and the transforming power of God’s Word.

Like many of us, David experienced seasons of great fear in his life. However, in Psalm 34, David has safely passed through his most recent storm and shares his perspective of a faithful God—one who is always worthy of blessing and praise. Through his psalm, David invites us to find our refuge in that same God.

Today, we look at the Christmas story through the eyes of Joseph, a man called to do the right thing, even when it was confusing, costly, and uncomfortable. And like Joseph, God invites us to move from fear to faithfulness through ordinary acts of obedience.

As the story continues, God interrupts Mary’s ordinary life with an unexpected and overwhelming assignment. Into her fear and uncertainty, God speaks His presence, His favor, and the identity of Jesus—the Son of the Most High. Mary’s faithful response encourages us to look at the character and presence of God.

This season, we’re exploring the simple, yet life-changing words spoken four times in the Christmas story: Fear Not. We begin with Zechariah and Elizabeth—an older couple who lived faithfully through years of disappointment and unanswered prayer. Their story reminds us that God sees what we carry, hears the cries of our hearts, and continues to work… even when He seems silent.

Life can feel disorienting in the “in-between” seasons of our journey. Through Mary’s song in Luke 1, we discover that God is trustworthy because He is personally present, mighty in compassion and justice, and faithful to keep His promises.

Work fills most of our days, yet we often wonder if what we do really matters. Proverbs reminds us that all our work—whether at home, in a job, at school, or in our relationships—can honor God when it reflects His wisdom and character. Our work matters when we commit it to God, pursue it with diligence, and apply it with wisdom.

We all know from experience that money is a necessary and powerful part of life. Today, we will be reminded of God’s perspective on money through the lens of key truths, powerful traps, and everyday takeaways, so that we can walk in the way of the wise.

From Genesis to today, there’s been a war of words—between truth and lies, wisdom and folly, life and death. Proverbs calls us to guard our speech because our words reveal our hearts. Only Jesus, the Word made flesh, can give us new hearts and make our words instruments of peace.

We all know from experience that our words hold incredible power—power to build up or break down, to heal or to harm. Today, we will be reminded that the words we speak shape our lives, and we are invited to walk the Way of the Wise with words that encourage and speak life

In Proverbs 8, Wisdom steps forward like a job applicant presenting her résumé. She shows us her worth, her credentials, her work in creation, and her invitation to life. As we listen to her voice, we discover that true wisdom is found not just in good advice but in a living relationship with Jesus, the wisdom of God.

The book of Proverbs develops practical wisdom for everyday life. Today’s message looks at how that wisdom impacts training and developing children.

As we continue our series in Proverbs, it’s time to put wisdom into action. God shows us the path of faithfulness—calling us to guard our hearts, flee immorality, pursue His good design, and consider the consequences of our choices. And even when we are faithless, remember, He remains faithful.

Life is full of decisions—some small, some life-altering. Proverbs 3:1–12 shows us that wise decisions aren’t formulaic but from lives aligned relationally with the LORD as we obey, remember, trust, fear, honor, and accept Him. Today, we’ll see how walking with God shapes us into people who make wise choices.

Life is filled with choices, and the voices we listen to shape the direction we take. Proverbs 1–2 reminds us that wisdom is calling out, offering guidance and protection, but we must choose carefully which counsel we follow.

Today, we launch our fall sermon series and coordinated study in Proverbs, The Way of the Wise. Proverbs aren’t just about more information; they teach us how to skillfully navigate life from God’s perspective. In this opening message, we’ll discover that the fear of the Lord is the starting point for true wisdom.

The compassion of God compels us to go into His world to make disciples. Today, we’ll explore how the story of God, on a mission to redeem the world, unfolds throughout the Bible and what it means for us to seek first His global mission today.

Investing in God’s work happens as we invest in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Together, we’ll see how we can be Gospel Partners, Gospel Pray-ers, Gospel Proclaimers, and Gospel Patrons for the advancement and spread of the gospel of God.

We each have a need to grow with God’s people in the context of the gathered Church. We come together not just for our own growth but for the good of others in the body of Christ.

This week, we’ll see that the Christian life isn’t meant to be endured until heaven—it’s meant to be lived in Christ, rooted, grounded, and saturated in His love, His Word, and His people. These three anchors shape our priorities, deepen our faith, and move us from going through the motions to living in the overflow of God’s love for and work in us.

We’re all seeking something in life. These pursuits matter—but Jesus clearly tells us what we should be seeking first. As we begin this new sermon series, let’s open our hearts to God’s Word and allow it to realign our priorities with what truly matters most

The Christian will often experience difficult times in life. Today, we will look at how being “with God” prepares us for the journey with Him in those seasons.

We’ve spent the previous three weeks anchoring ourselves to the Word of God by learning what it says about itself. This morning, a “personal postscript”—six life and ministry “ah ha’s,” or breakthroughs, prompted by God’s Word. When we live by God’s Word, we should expect, and welcome, these “ah ha’s.
