There are some battles in life where the odds are stacked against us and we need God to show up. Jericho is this sort of battle for Israel. In this message, Pastor Jim Samra reminds us of the power of prayer to combat overwhelming obstacles in life. Just as Israel marched around the walls of Jericho, summoning God to work on their behalf, we too can call upon God in prayer.

As Joshua is scouting the city of Jericho prior to what may be the biggest battle of his life, the Lord appears before him to adjust his perspective. God reminds Joshua and us that the question is not whether or not God is on our side, but whether we are on God’s side.

But God wants you to be encouraged today. Remember, he has given you this assignment. He is responsible for the outcome and he will be with you every step of the way.
