This message continues in Romans 8, wherein Paul examines those whose minds are set on the flesh versus those whose minds are set on the desires of the Spirit. Pastor Tom highlights four things that we must recognize to experience life and peace as we live by the Spirit, increasingly desiring what the Spirit desires.

Romans chapter 8 begins with the declaration that for those in Christ there is now no reason to live burdened by shame and guilt. We are free from the law because Jesus Christ paid the price for sin that we owed. Instead of continuing to pay for our sin, we are free to live by the Spirit.
