In this message, we are introduced to the book of 2 Timothy. Paul the Apostle is imprisoned and awaiting his death, however prior to his death, he writes a letter of encouragement to Timothy. This letter was written as a source of encouragement and direction for Timothy to minister in preparation for the Last Day's, therefore it has direct application to the Christian.

Real riches are eternal riches, and Timothy is told how to charge those that find themselves rich in this world. As Paul finishes the letter to Timothy, we see Timothy is told to guard the real truth. For real truth is always found in the Word of God.

In this message Paul gives a prescription for godly living in three doses. Flee, follow, and fight. As children of God we are called to flee temptation, follow godliness, and fight the good fight of faith for the rest of our lives.

In honor of Thanksgiving, Pastor Mark reminds us that no matter what we've gone through we can give thanks to the Giver. A quick overview of the Life of Jonah reminds us that Jonah was in a place of hopelessness, and helplessness, but once Jonah put his eyes back on Jesus he was able to give thanks and everything changed for him. Jonah gave sacrifice with a voice of thanksgiving.

On November 19, 2017, we were blessed to have Pastor Greg Nelson share with us. Pastor Greg is the chaplain at the Federal Correctional Facility (Penitentiary) here in Lompoc. Remember to pray for Pastor Greg and his family, that God continues to use him to reach the lost, and equip the saints in prison.

In the study we are warned of false teachings that we circulating in the church of that time and continue on today. In the end, we are exhorted to stand boldly for the truth!
