1 Timothy was written by the Apostle Paul, to a young man he has disciple named Timothy. Timothy is now in Ephesus needing to set things in order at the church. The first task Paul addresses is the need to guard the message of the church, and to keep the church focused on the Gospel of Grace.

In 3rd John, the Apostle John writes a very personal letter to address the issues of unity and division in the family of God. Unity is an incredibly powerful thing, and the enemy will always come against it.
