As we study Jesus' feeding of the 5,000, we see that our focus should be on a faithful God who is sufficient to meet both our immediate and future needs.

By this point in the Gospel of John, Jesus had claimed to be equal with God (spoiler alert: He was right). Today, we'll see that Jesus was able to truthfully make that claim according to four witnesses: John the Baptist, Jesus' works, the Father, and the Scriptures.

This morning we will continue in the book of John and learn how Jesus responds to the pharisaical heart.

As we study the story of the paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda, we see that we must accept our brokenness, that we must embrace Jesus (and not religion), and that what we look to for life matters.

Many people know the hymn "'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus", but what does that look like in real life? As we finish John 4, we'll study what it means to trust in the power, Word, and Person of Jesus, and that we should believe in Jesus for who He is, not just what He can do for us in life's crises.

As we study the conversation between Jesus and the woman at the well, we see that Jesus wants us to think spiritually, to live in truth, and to share in His mission.

John the Baptist famously said of Jesus: "He must increase, but I must decrease." How does decreasing sound joyful? Join us as we see John the Baptist explain that his joy is because Jesus was glorified, and that all glory belongs to Him.

Everyone knows John 3:16. But what about the context? What does John 3:16 have to do with serpents in the wilderness? We'll study what it means to let go of our self-dependence and look to Jesus with belief, and we'll also see how God's love isn't a vague and sentimental feeling, but a love that costs.

As we study the story of Jesus clearing the Temple, we examine His confrontation of hypocrisy and His zeal for the Father's glory, with a focus on ensuring that our faith is real (not fake), so that we don't fall into spiritual complacency, which impedes true worship.

As we study the story of Jesus turning water into wine at the wedding in Cana, we focus on the mission and evidence of the transformational power of Jesus, and the proper response to His power.

As we finish the first chapter of John, we see that Jesus is looking for genuine followers, not those who are in it for what they can get out of it, as well as the necessary balance to maintain between human responsibility and Divine initiative in our relationship with God.

Who was John the Baptist? Why was he baptizing? What was his purpose in life? As we continue in the Gospel of John, we see that humble submission is the only response to the revelation of who Jesus truly is, because there can be no greater mission than to point others to Jesus, the lamb of God, which takes away the world's sins.

As we start at the beginning of John, we go all the way back to the beginning...before creation, and we see how the revelation of God that began at creation was completed in the revelation of Christ, the creator of all things.

Today we introduce the Gospel of John and read chapters 1-6 together.

As we prepare for our series “Life in His Name”: a study through the Gospel of John, we look at three types of people battling unbelief. We benefit from asking ourselves, “Do we truly believe that Jesus is who he says He is?”

As we conclude Paul's letter to Philemon, we focus on the personal obedience, personal accountability, and community accountability of the believer.

As we continue in Philemon, we see that genuine restoration can only occur when God does a work in the broken relationship.

Life is messy. Relationships sometimes break. But as we see in Paul's letter to Philemon, the power of the Gospel to change lives is what gives us hope for the restoration of broken relationships.

Today we begin our study in Paul's letter to Philemon by reading the entire letter and understanding the context in which it was written.

Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia! As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, we study the miraculous salvation that He secured for us with His finished work.

As we begin our Holy Week celebrations, we prepare for Jesus' continuing work in our own lives by seeing how Jesus is a new kind of King.

As we conclude the book of Jude, we focus on fortifying ourselves in the truth of the Word of God, with a commitment to pointing others to the glorious Gospel.

As we continue to study Jude's letter warning of apostates, we take a look at the vivid pictures he gives of the dangers that lead to subtle and deceptive perversions of the truth.
