Some times we think we can survive without necessarily being in God’s Word. Then there is a part of us that wants to be “Practical”. If You need to start business? Logic says, “Take a loan” and delay payment as much as possible.  Can I trust God even in my business? Trust seems to be for those in ministry.  How practical is His counsel?  Wonderful Counsellor!

Did He have to become flesh? What is the background to all of this? Why is this the best solution to man’s problems? I can also note that becoming flesh is not the same as being created. But also that He was in the beginning… But why Christmas. He could have just become flesh without being born.

As we exchange gifts this season, it is important to be reminded of the gifts / blessings we have in Christ Jesus.  “ the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, … has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,” - Eph 1:3 How do these blessings translate into our world today? Are they “tangible”? What about the gifts we never received that the others got?
