This means that we do not treat God's Word like a self-help book, a get rich quick scheme, or a capstone on the American Dream. Our goal is to teach Scripture line by line, in it's textual and cultural context. Taking every precaution to avoid seeing the sacred texts through the lens of a twenty first century westerner.
