What happened at the death of Christ? What was the purpose of Christ’s death? We will look at some attempts throughout history to try to understand what Christ’s death accomplished.

How did the incarnation play out in history? Why was Jesus born of a virgin? How did the virgin birth take place? What was the life and ministry of Jesus Christ like? We are answering all of these questions in today's class.

In week 2 we're diving into the following questions: Who was Christ prior to coming to the earth? Who was Christ prior to the creation of the world? What role (if any) did Christ play in the creation of the world? Where was Christ in the Old Testament?

What does the word “Christology” mean? What does the word “Christ” mean? Those are the questions we're answering in today's lesson. And we're also having an overview of this seven-week course.

In this lesson, we gather the elements of who you are to explore where you can best serve God and others.

In this session, you will consider how your personal life experiences can empower you to be effective in coming alongside to encourage others.

In session four, you will be encouraged to explore how your personal psychological make-up can guide your potential to make an impact.

Every person has natural abilities and acquired skills to enable them to excel in life. This third session will focus on identifying and owning your natural strengths and developed skills.

Jesus encourages us to “transform the times” (Luke 12:54-56). Today, we will see how Ancient Babylon experienced three different moves of God through the life of Daniel. And, how to be resilient in our faith in a modern-day Babylonian culture.

Jesus encourages us to “understand the times” (Luke 12:54-56). Today, we will learn how to understand our modern-day Babylonian culture and how to be resilient in our faith like Daniel did in Ancient Babylon.

We have seen how the biblical writers described the Father and the Son, in this teaching we dig into how they described the Holy Spirit.  Is the Holy Spirit a “force” or a “power” or is the Holy Spirit a “person?”  And equally important, is the Holy Spirit referred to as “God?”  We will discover the answers to these questions (and more!) in this final installment of this series on “The Trinity.”

This week we dive deep into “the incarnation”:  the truth about the Second Person of the Trinity adding the nature of a human to His Divine nature.  If Jesus was God, how could He “grow” in knowledge?  If Jesus was God, how could He be tempted to sin?  We will discover the answers!

During Week 3 we saw several examples where Deity/Divinity is implicitly applied to Jesus.  This week we unpack several instances where the biblical writers set aside all restraint and explicitly refer to Jesus as “God.”   

In week 2, we learned that the Father is God.  But what about the Son?  Is the Son God?  What is his relation to the Father?  What do we learn from observing his life, teaching, and activity?

During Week 2 we investigated what the Biblical writers meant when they taught we are “made in the image of God.”  How do we resemble God?  We looked at the Bible and what it teaches regarding “the Father.”  Is the Father a person?  Is the Father called “God?” 

During Week 1 we took a quiz to reveal several FALSE views about the Trinity.  We laid the groundwork by examining and comparing the 5 main views about God that exist in our world.  We also learned a very basic (and understandable) explanation of the biblical concept of the Trinity.
