He showed that love to us by loving us that way. Now, we are to demonstrate that same kind of love to others. In this passage we learn how Jesus loves us.

He perfectly demonstrated that love by sending Jesus to die a substitutionary, atoning death on the cross for you. HE now calls upon us to love Him in return with all our hearts AND to love others that same way. How can I possibly love like Jesus loves? There is no greater love than His.
