Central to this event over the last twenty-five years has been the gospel, and we have seen hundreds and hundreds of people give their lives to Christ. This message is a reminder that that is worth celebrating.

Send us Fan Mail Psalm 46 was written in commemoration of the miraculous way God delivered the people of Jerusalem and the city itself from an attack by the Assyrians. Archeological digs have proven that what the Bible claimed as historical fact was right all along. And the lessons learned then are the lessons we need to learn today.

This particular psalm was written, maybe at King Hezekiah’s behest, to acknowledge the greatness of God as seen in His deliverance of Jerusalem in 701 BC.
