We’re on good terms with God when our righteousness is in Christ, not ourselves.

We base our entire lives around what we believe to be true. We need a truth at the center of our lives that can stand against the scrutiny of the enemy's lies - we need the truth of the Gospel. *This sermon was recorded during the week, outside of our normal gathering. You’re in a spiritual battle whether you realize it or not. Rather than denying it or obsessing over it, we can walk in victory over it. Why? Because Christ has won the war.

Paul's words to slaves and masters in 1st Century Rome were paradigm shifting in every way. Those same words have more implications for our lives today than we would expect as we follow the great emancipator, Jesus Christ.

How we honor our parents and raise our children both speak volumes about how we follow Jesus. Even those without kids play a part.

If we’re going to thrive in following Jesus, what we are filled with matters—maybe more than we realize.

Is sexual sin really a big deal to God? If so, why? Is unlimited sexual freedom actually freeing, or does God have something better in mind?

Ditch the old identity. Put on your new identity. Walk in fullness. Sound good?

Because God loves you, he desires you to grow in spiritual maturity and Christ-likeness. As you do, the result is a grounding in truth that’s evidenced in love.

Jesus gives spiritual gifts to each person, but whether a role takes a front stage / backstage position doesn’t matter. What matters is that we’ve got our eyes on the one who’s calling the shots.

God’s family is called to be a united one, regardless of denominational or cultural differences. Real talk: How do we actually pull this off?

Life hits. Hard times come. We pour ourselves out. Where does our strength come from? The Apostle Paul prayed that we would find it in Christ.

Jesus is advancing His mission through broken, messed up people...and yet it's still plan A. Are you in?

Following Jesus isn’t boring. It also doesn’t have to be complex. When we are faithful to respond to the Gospel, life is nothing short of an adventure.

In order for something new to be built, something old needs to be broken down. In Christ, the old life is demolished and something beautiful is constructed in its place.

Brennan Manning once asked, “How is it then that we’ve come to imagine that Christianity consists primarily in what we do for God?” Scripture is clear when it comes to what makes us “enough” before God. It’s not by works, nor by human efforts, but by grace.

Jesus described himself as “the resurrection and the life.” It’s not just what he does, it’s who he is. On Easter Sunday, we celebrate that even death itself can’t defeat what Jesus made possible through his resurrection.

G.K. Chesterton once said, “Whatever else is or is not true, this one thing is certain—man is not what he was meant to be.” The challenge that we face today is that no matter how hard we try - no matter how far we run - we are held captive by the evils of this world and the sins of this world because they’re just as much part of us as anyone. Without outside intervention, we’re hopeless.

Many will spend their lives building a personal kingdom, but with no eternal guarantees. In Christ, we not only have peace for today, but a rich inheritance that will last forever.
