Bridging the Gap With Pastor Lloyd Pulley

Here on this edition of Bridging the Gap, Lloyd Pulley points to the Second Coming of Christ.   He'll show us that a proper understanding of it should prompt us to righteous living.   The foundation for our talk will be First Peter chapter four and verses eight through eleven.   As we await the return of the Lord, we should be maintaining and manifesting fervent love!

Today, as we continue in our study in First Peter, we'll see that the life God has called us to live is anything but self-serving.   We're to live for the glory of God!   What does a life lived that way look like?

As Christians, we are called to live differently than the world.   We are to be dead to sin and alive to Christ. As Christians, now we can go directly to God. We no longer need a priest to act as our go between, because Jesus is our high priest. What a privilege that is, and we'll take some time today to develop that truth as we continue our verse by verse study of First Peter here on Bridging the Gap.
