What a day at KBC as we welcomed 5 new members, baptized 2 and dedicated 4 beautiful children. The message was a quick but thorough look at 1 Thessalonians 5:12-24; a wonderful description by the Apostle Paul on how the Church should act!

The world tells us that we should be finding our validation in other people, while at the same time tells us to handle our problems and stress on our own. This is not the way of the Kingdom. Where do we get our validation? JESUS! Where do we get our help? Our help comes from the Lord! We travel through Psalm 121 as we focus on the promises and strength of our God.

With the US Election Day just 2 days away, Pastor Brian addresses politics and our responsibilities from a Biblical perspective. Legacy Sunday at Kenmore Baptist Church- where we honored our past and rich history, and take its wisdom into the future that God has for us! It is only possible when we know who we are in Christ, and live and act with the confidence that we are sons and daughters of the Most High, co heirs with Christ in the Kingdom that cannot be shaken- a royal priesthood and a holy nation!

We continue the series Here We Grow! today by focusing on our everlasting hope! As children of the Most High, we have eternity to look forward to, and whatever come what may in this world, we can face it with King Jesus by our side. We will have troubles in this world, but Jesus has overcome the world- and He is our Living Hope!

We continue our series Here We Grow! with a challenge to increase the power and habit of prayer. Prayer in the catalyst for action in the spiritual realm, and we as the modern church need desperately to make prayer a priority. James 5:12-20 is the text. May you be blessed by this message!

We all have access to these gifts, and they all manifest at different times of our life and walk with the Lord.
