A brewery with a rustic aesthetic and serving traditional styles with a modern twist, this is the showcase for Gaithersburg, Maryland’s Elder Pine Brewing & Blending. Carlin and Rebecca recently visited the brewery, so they have beers to taste and extra information to share.

Carlin and Rebecca recently made a trip down to Rockville, Maryland for some socially distanced craft beer drinking. This well prepared brewery that started the Biermi website has been one the podcast hosts have been wanting to dig into.

This episode of 12 blind beers has an extra element of surprise. Carlin pulled beers that have aged too long in the cellar, but some actually don’t taste so bad.

For this showcase Carlin and Rebecca dig into the origin and beers of one of the newer Vermont breweries causing a buzz in the craft beer industry. Heavily focused on hazy IPAs, but experimenting with so much more, this brewery deserves some attention.

Carlin talks about, and tastes examples of, anniversary beers put out by The Bruery. He also tastes two imperial stouts that sound like they should have great flavor profiles.

Being locked in the house means getting beer in creative ways. This includes online beer stores. This time Carlin and Rebecca talk about their experience with Craftshack, which is out of San Diego, California.

Carlin and Rebecca finally hit the road for a quick trip to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for a beer and food pick-up. The brewery is less than a year old, but has come out of the gate swinging with some excellent beers.
