It's 'National Puppy Day' and Barry comes out of his comfort zone to sing "The Puppy Song" that he made up for his dog Maggie.  Admit it ... we all create silly little songs for our pets, and they KNOW that it's all about them! 

Barry's guest on the podcast today is Paula Moats who has written and published her first children's book:  "The Birthday Case."  The characters were inspired by her collection of stuffed gorillas and monkeys.

Barry's nemesis from his old radio days is back ... Disgruntled Guy has a lot to complain about, and its been building up these last 9 months since Barry retired.   

Barry celebrates the arrival of Spring today and warmer days ahead.  He also goes on to share that for the first time in his life, it took $50 to fill up his station wagon ... and offers gas-saving tips from the International Energy Agency.

On this special episode, Barry hosts two angels (Dorcas Sturgill and Bethany Searfoss) who 10 years ago began a community-wide project that provides girls with free prom dresses.

Barry's guest on the podcast is Lynda Tyler, Board Member of the '2 For 2 Foundation'.  The Foundation is raising funds to bring an indoor swim facility and ice rink to the Frederick County/Winchester community.  Two of the fundraisers involve setting a Guinness World Record for the 'largest ice cream sandwich' and 'largest human ice cream cone'.
