Europe’s biggest airline which has just published its results for the full financial year.  Profits after tax came in as up 40% to €2.26bn.  The results encompassed only 1 month of the Iran war.  It comes as airlines have had to cancel flights or issue fuel surcharges since the Iran war. UK bond yields or the interest rates on a loan to that government were at a 28 year high yesterday. So what does the UK need to do that would work for its citizens and its economy without upsetting the incredibly powerful bond dealers?  Speaking to Joe with more on this was Gavin Megaw who runs the Megaw Partners consultancy and the YouTube site: ‘Stories behind power and reputation’. 

Power consumed by data centres has grown by 36% over the past 2 years.  The report highlights the race by the hyperscalers to build data centres and the impact on that on smaller but developed nations such as Ireland and Singapore.
