This week, we welcome our Pastoral Intern, Brian Fu, to continue our journey through Ephesians. He challenges us to posture ourselves in a way of forgiveness and love so that we might all experience the unity of the Spirit.

Together, we wonder how we might go against the empires of today and live into God's preferred future, breaking down the walls that divide us and choosing to accept a "permanent, positive peace". 

This week, we launched a 7-week series journeying through Ephesians under the theme, No Longer Strangers. Pastor Joe began the series looking at how God's belovedness includes all. Rather than allowing our faith and convictions to feel better than the other, perhaps the blessings God promises should inspire us to action in the midst of a broken world!

Join in on another episode of Bothell Amplified as we finish our two-week series, Becoming Anti-Ableist. Our Pastoral intern, Angela Molloy, preaches to us from 2 Corinthians 8:7-15 as she wraps up her time with us at Bothell.

This week, we continue to follow the story of the Israelites in 1 Samuel 8:4-20 as they call for a King. Pastor Joe explores why they might have wanted a king over God and how God chooses to be present with us in all our journey!

This Sunday, we celebrated Trinity Sunday! Preaching from John 3:1-21, Pastor Joe challenges us to move from certainty to mystery by changing the ways we experience the world! 

This Sunday, we celebrated Pentecost and spent time with our Pastoral Intern, Jancy Schrader, on her last Sunday with us. Sharing from Acts 2:1-21, Jancy and Pastor Joe discuss their noticing and wonderings, and how we can continue to be led by the guidance of the Holy Spirit!

This Sunday, we turn to Acts 1:1-11 and explore the moment when Jesus ascends to Heaven and how the disciples respond! 

This week, we turn to Acts 10:44-48 as we explore the Limitlessness of God. Having just returned from the United Methodist Church's General Conference, Pastor Joe shares some of his reflections and ways we can continue to build a world of inclusion and belonging! 

This week, Rev. Ben Hartley joins us at Bothell. Rev. Hartley preaches from Acts 8:26-40 and connects the story of how Philip the Apostle's journey (or roadtrip) and his conversations with the Ethiopian eunuch on way to Samaria has an impacts on the world today.

This week, we welcomed Angela Molloy, one of our Pastoral Interns, to preach as we recognized Disability Awareness Sunday.  Angela reads to us from John 20: 1-18.

Christ is Risen! He is Risen, indeed! This week, we celebrate Christ's resurrection as we gather together for Easter! Pastor Joe preaches from Mark 16:1-8 and reminds us that we are called to continue forth the Easter story into our context and into our world! 

This week, we mark Jesus' Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem found in Mark 11:1-11. Pastor Joe challenges us to remember this procession as protest and encourages us to follow in that legacy as we work towards God's preferred future of hope, love, and justice.

This week, Pastor Joe reflects on the recent US Census Bureau data that claims Seattle to be the least religious metro area in the country. He turns to John 12:20-33 and follows the story of Philip as we look to Holy Week.
