If you’re retired, do you miss work?  Did you plan well? What do you do all day?  If you’re not retired, are you thinking about it?  Are you ready for it? 

What does it take to live to 100? Do you want to live that long? Do you want to make it on the Smucker’s jar on the Today show saluting centenarians?

What do these Boomer era songs have in common? “Behind Closed Doors” by Charlie Rich, “Money” by Pink Floyd, “Long Train Runnin’” by the Doobie Brothers, “Tie A Yellow Ribbon”. You might be surprised.

Do you have a Bucket list? What’s on it? How does it compare with other Boomer bucket lists? 

If you’re not retired yet, are you ready for it? Do you dream about it? Do you plan for it? Do you practice?

Do you listen to music on vinyl, CDs, or your phone? Do you read a newspaper by turning pages or scrolling on an iPad? How do you adjust to changes in technology?

What kind of stuff do you keep?  Pictures, souvenirs, old love letters?  Will your kids want any of this stuff when you’re gone? Do you really want any of it now?

We're sooo busy, but we know there's always time to catch up, right?  And then time runs out.

How do you react when you hear the words “OK Boomer”. I react by saying, “Yep, that’s me.” What is a Boomer? Who am I?

Are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet? Is that something your kids ask incessantly on a family road trip?  Or is it something to ponder on the journey of life? Do you live for today?  Do you plan for the future?  Do you do a little of both? 

Music is a powerful thing. Notes, chords and lyrics tap into our emotions. The 1st few notes of a song can be a time machine, transporting us back to some earlier part of our lives.
