Bob Ueker and Stuart Spencer, Two Giants at what they did, A tribute 24.02.2025

Send us Fan Mail In this special edition we honor two very different but very special people, Stuart Spencer and Bob Ueker.  Stuart Spencer was an advisor to Ronald Reagan going back to his earliest days in politics. Send us Fan Mail This is a speech delivered just barely in Primetime that slipped into the 11pm hour. Arguably the single biggest mistake ever made by schedulers in the history of prime time political conventions.  It is from day 1 of the 1992 Republican National Convention. Send us Fan Mail It is just days before the Republican National Convention and the campaign of George H. W. Bush is losing, badly. It appears unfocused and seems to be reacting to events instead of controlling them or leading them. The worsening economy has the argument for change being made by Bill Clinton stronger with each passing day. Finally, Ross Perot decided to withdraw and did so on the l...

The Withdrawal of Ross Perot and a panel of Former Democratic Nominees (Special Edition) 23.01.2025

Send us Fan Mail We ran out of time in our last episode but felt that both of these segments were worthy of being chronicled in our series looking back at the 1992 election.  The first is the full press conference of Ross Perot as he withdrew from the 1992 election. It was a move that to this day makes no sense to me as to why he did it. He had been in first place and while he had slipped in the p...

Send us Fan Mail This is a second part we added to our tribute to President Jimmy Carter that ran yesterday. The episode we put together to start with was already 1 hour and 47 minutes long after editing it down,  so we had to decide what to cut from the program. After making the edits we came to the conclusion that we had another episode that really needed to be shared.  This is that episode and...
