Andrea and I have had these kinds of conversations before and it's about time BirdCamp was involved.  We wander around conversationally  for quite a while and jump topics regularly.   Hunting, dogs, conservation, outdoor picture taking, women hunters and shooters, and so much more.

Travis and I could easily talk the night away about hunting.  He seems to be a man that embraces all the right things about hunting's finer things.

We finally were able to get this recording done to wrap up Season 3 for the podcast. There is a lot of detail to consider in this conversation.  As well as how to best promote the flourishing of wild pheasants in a place trying to rebound its wild birds.

Ryan Reddick journeys to Michigan every year to hunt in the U.P. for grouse and woodcock.  Many friends also head to the panhandle of Oklahoma to join him in hunting his beloved quail.

Dennis Stachewitz, Perry Masotti, and David Weaver sit down after breakfast on our last day and conversate about the weeks challenges. We also head into the proverbial weeds of hunting ethics, slob hunters, and more.  

This is just me going over the lessons learned from camp.  A few stories for good measure as well.

Dave is a good friend I met through social media.  He's one of my human resources I use when I'm in doubt on a recipe or cooking idea. While this conversation may be a stretching step for some hunters, we really did keep it simple compared to what it could have been.

We didn't dig to deep into any certain thing but covered a lot of basics about southern Michigan grassland restoration and pheasant hunting.

Glen and Jon talk about what projects are going on and what RGS involvement in Michigan will look like.
