This may well be my favourite set of this year. The area was completely empty when I started and completely rammed when I finished and the atmosphere was off the hook – and largely peopled with kids who were young and had no idea who the hell I was. Just got back from Houghton Festival in Norfolk. What a weekend, what a festival. Beautiful setting, in the grounds of Houghton Hall, half of it set in a meandering forest next to the main site (a little like Lost Village, if you've ever been to that). Had a fun session at Prince Of Wales in Brixton last night, although we were battling against the balmy weather keeping people up on the roof, even after the music had stopped.

Seems appropriate to post this now, since it was Larry's birthday yesterday. This set was from a few week back when the guys from Levan in Peckham came over to Spiritland at the RFH for an evening of stellar food and music (ahem). This is my set of Garage classics from that night. Enjoy!

Played this wicked little festival on Saturday, on the outskirts of Worthing, in a weird sort of castle thing that was once owned by Mary Shelley. You could feel the ghosts of Sterns in this place, though, felt like there were some Sterns veterans there, so I couldn't resist busting out the house classics for this one. One of the most fun, enjoyable shows I've done this year.
