Beyond 1st Level

The Rain realizes that it may be better to take their chances on the Glas Roadway than in the White Woods with Fey spirits that seem to not like their presence. They seem to be rejecting “The Dark”, whoever that is. How will The Rain blend in on the road now that their faces are everywhere? Will a haircut and a bath be enough to become unrecognizable?

As Ishi receives his arcane sigil to seal his body from attracting dirt, The Rain talks about their next move; do they continue to Flust and Airis’s order, or with new questions thrown into the mix, should they head in a different direction? What to do? What to do? 

A City inspector knocks on Lindsey's door due to suspicious activity of the Rains posters no longer hanging outside. Will the Inspector find the Rain hiding inside or will they go undetected and slip out of the city unnoticed? If he does find the Rain, what is in store for them now that they are on the wrong side of the law?

 In this special episode, we have David (DM) joined by The Rain; Riku (Will), Airis (Cesar), Ishi (Kelley), summarizing and sharing their thoughts about the campaign and episodes 31 through 40 of Beyond 1st Level. After the Steel door opens and a familiar voice is heard, Lindsey, The R.A.I.Ns former sponsor in the Solstice games enters with a fully grown Owlbear, Cloud. What news can Lindsey give the members of the rain? How has the kingdom of Glas changed in a year and a half since their absence? 

The Party of A.I.R. makes their way through the abandoned city of Blingdenstone. They must be quiet and not draw the attention of Ogrémoch's Bane. That seems to be going pretty easy until they run into a Drow scouting party inside the city. Who are they and can they be trusted? Also, Is Ishi safe from the Bane if it catches them? 

Now that Nadia and Airis are gone, Riku and Ishi must now get off the Elemental Plains and retrace Airis’s steps. How will they deal with Blair and his betrayal? Will they be able to find Airis? And what about Nadia, Is she okay?

Trying his best to save Nadia, Airis pushed his way through them both and went through the portal with them. He then found himself in a dim dark tunnel. Where is he? Who is this Old crazy woman? And how is he going to find his friends? Good luck Airis. You're going to need it.

The Rain meets Sunaarashi’s, I mean Ishi’s, family. Ishi’s mom seems to be reminded of his father by seeing him again. She asks Ishi to try and meet his father if they are able to go back to the Material Plane. There is a problem there. An even bigger problem, however, is that Rahas decides to show himself just as the gang is finding out who betrayed Ishi 4 years ago.

The Rain, finding nothing else of value in the village of Kald, head towards Arcadis. They run into some very powerful allies, whom which Ishi not only knows but is related to. His two older brothers; Kasai, A Fire Genasi, and Kawa, A Water. How will the Rain and the brother duo fair against a group of Azers and a Fire Giant?

After coming face to face with the man who tortured him 4 years ago, Ishi snaps and goes into a Barbaric Rage. How will Ishi fair against this deadly opponent? More so, will The Rain be able to control him after becoming so angry? And what is there to find in this so-called church, the Butcher mentions during the fight?

A temple collapsing around The Rains feet, they must use everything in their arsenals to escape being trapped underneath. Afterwords The Rain is led by Ishi to the city of Arcadis…Or so they thought they were.

The Rain starts the new “day” with a new realization made by Riku. Also, they find Ishi in a new room with a new puzzle. I wonder what elegant solution there will be too, and its a fight. But wait, thats not a normal end to a fight? You found what in the bag of holding? 

The Rain finds themselves stranded in the middle of the Elemental Planes: Earth Plane. Ishi knows the way home, but without food or water, it’s going to be a rough journey home. After 8 hours of walking its time to long rest yet, the sun isn’t even past midday. Everything means nothing if The Rain can’t eat or get out of the sun… What's that giant shadow on the horizon?

Roth kicked off the Beast Duels early and boy Does The Rain not disappoint. 2 more rounds of fights against admirable foes in locations the The Rain have deep in their memories. The End of the third fights goes off with a bang. What is Roth scheming and will The Rain see it coming?

The Rain is awoken by an announcement, “Everyone report to the Exodus Arena”. Uh oh. Do you think this may have to do with last night? “It’s about the Yuan-ti bodies found last night”. It might. With the crowd still hating Lindsey, they offer the Rain to be the first to be investigated. How will the Rain work there way through this one? And how will Roth React to Nadia’s presence in the city?

With the battle between The Shroud Vs. The Yuan-ti seemingly over, The Rain search the hall for the final Snake. When they find him things become even more a web then once thought. Nadia seems particularly interested in the events happening. What is she hiding from The Rain and more so, What is Sam hiding from her fellow players?

What would you think happens when opening an arcane locked door underneath the city? You find the thieves guild known as The Shroud. Riku tries to talk with them and gain there trust when word of a Yuan-ti has been cornered! There's not much time Riku, it's time to earn your trust. Why wouldn't Nadia want you to go into that building?

As The Rain comes off 2 huge victories in the first 2 games, Riku cashes in on his plug of the Top Hat and goes to get his free stuff. Being Again by a secret door, The Rain decides to really check out where the secret room leads.

While the Mage Duels have been long fought, Riku finds himself in the finals against Toxal, The Green Dragonborn cowboy from the east. Following their match, Ishi finally has his time to shine in the strength competition. Will R.A.I.N prevail in the first two competitions?

Riku heads into the semi-finals of the mage duels, Ishi has an opening up with Aralee, Nadia goes off with Lindsey again, and Airis has his fortune read. How can you fit all of this in one episode?

Riku, Airis, and Nadia partake in the Mage Duels opening rounds while Ishi trains to get a better handle on his newly healed arm. With all these new faces and adventures, what kind of new abilities will we see? How will Ishi adjust to being two-handed again? Find out on Beyond 1st Level.

Rain prepares for the Solstice games by doing a little shopping and collecting their thoughts before the Mage Duels begin. Nadia opens up to Lindsey and the group isn't there for it. Will her party ever find out about her secretive past?

Ishi has finally found Aralee and their emotions overflow. That is short lived after the fact of Ishi’s arm is shown in all its gruesomeness. Aralee will heal it but it won’t be pretty. Hopefully, Ishi can survive it, the opening ceremonies are later tonight. If you're a little squeamish. This may not be the session for you.
