We are very accustomed to getting the exciting news that a baby has been born by birth announcement. We may get them in the mail or see them on social media. There has never been more important announcement that that of the birth of the Savior of the world. As we read from Luke's Gospel, we find it to be not just any birth announcement but a heavenly announcement.

All other religions are man's pursuit of God. Only the God of the Bible that we serve became one of us to rescue us from sin and do what had to be done to restore the broken fellowship between himself and his creation.
