Out of nowhere comes Identity Crisis, an episode which quickly has become of one our favorite episodes in the entire series. The showrunners seem to have developed the much appreciated ability to take an episode than in past seasons would have been disparaged as "filler" and give it just enough core plot movement to stave off that label. The first quarter of Bad Batch's third season has concluded, and we may be off to one of the strongest starts of any season of Star Wars animated TV.
