Do the little things matter? Does God expect less from us? Saul did a lot of great things in leading Israel, but also overstepped on more than one occasion. We consider a lesser known lesson in his attempts to appease his King.

Some thinK that becoming a Christian means leaving anything lively, happy, joyful all behind. Is this the case? Let's consider......

Much of what we know today comes from lessons and experiences from long ago. The plagues on Egypt as an attempt to loosen Pharaoh's grasp is vivid in the story, but also powerful in its lessons that are foundational to our relationship with our maker....

We look at the challenge when the odds are against us, our numbers are down, our strength is draining, our faith weakens.

Continuing out thought from last time, we have civic duties to our leader's but this does not overshadow our duties toward a greater King. And our lives should not be ultimately impacted by which party wins.

What and why should we go to others? And what do we let get in the way of our being an ambassador.

God's plan for man existed before the creation. Man would fall, but there would be a plan to bring him back into a right relationship with his maker. What was preplanned or predetermined as part of that?

Man is logical, with the ability to reason, think, weigh options. While we are the most intelligent of God's creation, God is still far more superior than we can every imagine. We consider Isa 55 and look at some examples of when man's logic just didn't meet God's expectations.

The title is not a mistake - Israel went from worshiping IN the temple to worshiping the temple itself. We consider the consequences and the application for today in this week's message.

Repentance of past wrongs is among the first steps in being converted. What did the first century Christians put in front of them as they moved away from what was behind? The foundation set into motion was recorded and should continue even today.
