Hello everyone! I’m Ben, and I’m Eric, and we are cousins. On our podcast we discuss one movie and one tv show per episode. Each episode Ben and Eric review the movie and anything related to it. Eric specializes in tv, and every show we review he has watched in full. So for the tv section Ben watches the first few episodes of the show, and discusses his impressions with Eric. By the end of the episode, Ben decides if he will continue to watch or not. We hope you enjoy our podcast, and we appreciate any and all support!

The Brutalist (2024) & The Pitt || B&E Ep: 74 09.02.2025

Did you know the Hudson River reverses its flow? Eric didn't either, and it confused Ben for a long time. Look it up, it's kind of cool. Anyways, The Brutalist stars Adrien Brody and Felicity Jones in a period drama set in Doylestown, PA. It's nominated for 8 oscars, and is speculated to win a few important ones, as well. The Pitt is a ER show set over 15 real time hours. It follows an ensemble of...

A Complete Unknown (2024) & The Agency || B&E Ep: 73 26.01.2025

We start off our episode having just heard about the tragic passing of legendary filmmaker David Lynch and we address how that loss makes us feel. The timing of the announcement was sudden and unfortunate but our hosts do eventually discuss Timothee Chalamet and Bob Dylan, and their cultueral impacts then and now. Books, documentaries, movies and interviews are all cited to answer the pressing que...

Conclave (2024) & Black Doves || B&E Ep: 72 12.01.2025

We're starting off 2025 with two late 2024 releases! Is it left leaning Oscar bait, or is it a grounded and intensified tale as old as time? Conclave will certainly be nominated for a few oscars, but will it deserve to win? And Netlfix's new hyjinx dripping spy drama reaches a massive audience. But why should you care? Thank you to all our listeners who appreciate our content. Track Ben’s movie re...

Love Actually (2003) || B&E Holidays Ep: 70 15.12.2024

Happy Holidays! Our hosts take on a Christmas classic and really break it down to what its worth. You might be mistaken if you think your vigilant hosts would take it easy or hold this movie to any standard lower than usual. But most of all, is it a good Christmas picture? Megalopolis (2024) & Bad Monkey || B&E Ep: 68 10.11.2024

Well, what could we say about this movie that hasn't already been said. Francis Ford Coppola's latest lawsuit printing endeavor has really not panned out how he thought it would have. Our hosts were just as shocked at how the movie panned out. Then, Vince Vaughn's newest sun-soaked Florida keys comedy. Having very little to actually do with a monkey, Vince's character leads the audience through a...

Stalker (1979) & Taskmaster || B&E Ep: 67 27.10.2024

This is the kind of media diversity you stay for. Eric finally caves and reviews one of Ben's art films, a Soviet era story where three men enter the "Zone" to fulfill their greatest desires. Then, the British game show Taskmaster throws Eric for a conceptual loop. It's a show where 5 comics compete in meaningless tasks for meaningless prizes. It's great! As a reminder, the show is switching to a two week release schedule for th...

In addition, for the time being episodes will be released every 2 weeks due to ou...

Presumed Innocent || B&E Ep: 60 04.08.2024

Rusty Sabich is a devilish man, but did he do that shit? This episode reviews both the new Apple TV show and the 1990 movie, available on Prime. They talk about both pieces spoiler free until 39:55. Our hosts speculate and examine what makes each piece worth or not worth your time, but could not figure out their transitions for the life of them. Watch them struggle as they execute two bumpy landin...

Donnie Darko & Dark Matter || B&E Ep: 59 28.07.2024

A certain version of a classics episode, an older, classic movie joins a newer show based on similar core concepts. Hwoever compelling these pieces may be, our hosts stopped off at any and all segues. Ben's work problems, travel, cooking, and trash talk were fun, Eric criticizing from the sidelines while Ben lives life boldly. Technical problems and family were also fun topics for our hosts to...
