In week five of our series Tuff Questions , we answered the question, “What does the Bible say about mental health?”. We discussed how God has given us everything we need, why guarding our hearts and minds is essential, and how fear is often connected to sin. Most importantly, we were reminded that Jesus stepped into our struggle and offers real hope.

In week four of our series Tuff Questions, we asked, “Did Jesus really rise from the dead?” We explored the reality of Jesus’ resurrection, how the Bible confirms it, and why His victory over death changes everything for our lives today.

In week three of our series Tuff Questions , we answered the question, “What does the Bible say about homosexuality?”. We talked honestly about what Scripture teaches while also emphasizing we must approach every conversation with grace, love, and respect for people. This conversation challenged us to follow Jesus with both truth and compassion in how we think, speak, and treat others.

In week two of our series Tuff Questions, we answered the question "How to be in the world but not of the world". We discussed how the world promises happiness and fulfillment but always falls short, and why, as followers of Jesus, our real home is heaven. If we belong to a different kingdom, it should change how we live, choose, and represent Jesus every day.

In the final week of our series  Fight Club , we explored the story of the rich man and Lazarus. Their story reminds us that unresolved conflict with God doesn’t stay contained — it spills into every area of our lives, shaping our choices, our relationships, and even the way we see others. In week 3 of our series  Fight Club , we talked about how to evaluate the conflicts in our lives so we can pursue restoration in a godly way. We were reminded that when we face conflict, we are called to walk beside those we disagree with—not above them—and to respond in a way that reflects God’s character. In the end, it’s not about proving our point, but about pointing others back to Jesus.

In the final week of our Heart of Kings series, we explored the life of King Hezekiah. His story reminds us that pride can lead to downfall, but when our hearts are anchored in the gospel, gratitude takes the place of pride—and we experience God’s grace in full.

In this week’s message, we dive into what it truly means to walk in obedience to God. By looking at Saul's story, we learned that obedience isn’t about sometimes following rules—it’s about trusting His commands fully. When we surrender our own way, we open the door to God’s greater purpose and blessing in our lives.

His story showed us the dangers of pride, but it also reminded us of the freedom that comes when gratitude takes its place. This week we kicked off our new teaching series, Heart of Kings , where we will be looking at the hearts of Old Testament Kings throughout their successes and failures. We began by diving into the heart of King David, a man after God's own heart.
