Believers on Board

You don’t have any problems now, right? Wrong! Most people always have one problem or the other all the time. What are your problems, and where do you get the solutions?

If you live in an urban area, you probably see many Churches around! Are they genuine? The people who pass around for men of God, are they REALLY sent by God? You may not know; but God knows! Time will tell!

When something real or imaginary troubles you, or, makes you anxious; the single word that describes it is “worry”. What is your main worry now? And what are you doing about it? Expecting help from someone? Answer, please…..

Tears of joy and tears of sadness. Do you have one, or, both? Some people find difficulties weeping when a loved one dies. Ask them why, and you have different answers. It’s sad if can’t weep in sorrowful times!

Answer Yes or No: Can you be sure of what you are still hoping for? Can you be certain of something you cannot see? Please, answer before you continue. If your Answer was Yes, then you have just defined what Faith is.

If you do good now, your name will be honoured for years! If you do bad, children and grandkids who bear your name, will suffer. So, keep a good name for your sake and posterity!

Who’s your closest friend? Does he/she almost always know how you think and act? I doubt! ONLY one person knows you 100%! That’s God! You CAN’T hide anything in your mind from Him! So, watch out what you think or plan.

Do you know why you were born? Some people don’t! They think it just happened through their parents. Know this: God sent you into the world to serve Him. Do it through your life, work, and what you do and say. That’s it!

Between weak and strong, what do you prefer? The answer is obvious! We are living in dangerous times! And what we need is security. Don’t be afraid! God is your fortress; your strongest protector!

People live on earth using some principles and guidelines. What about you? What shapes your character and guides your way of life? For me, it’s the Word of God from the Bible! Same for you? If yes, thanks be to God.

Christians, both clergy and laity, don’t convert non-believers into Christianity. Is that true or false? True! They do preaching and witnessing only! Conversion is the work of the Holy Spirit.

Look back into your life. Name two worst things that have happened in your life. How did they finally end? Sometimes what begins as suffering ends up as success, right?

Put the the following in your best order of priority: food, sex, drinks, money, popularity, cellphone. Which one did you put first? An idol is something that takes first place in your life instead of God!

Actions speak louder than words. I believe that, what about you? Some people perform very well and they don’t talk about it. Others do little or nothing, but go tell it on the mountain!! Don’t be like those loudspeakers!!

What kind of person are you? Don’t say, I don’t know. Know yourself! If you are good, people will make you know; the same applies if you are bad. So, find out if you are pleasure or pain to people around you.

Do you remember the day you sat on a bad chair, and it threw you down? Did you blame yourself or the chair? Some people are sitting on damaged chairs; don’t be like them! Make God your strong anchor, and you will never fall!

Pause for a moment: what are your talents? I mean the natural gifts God has given you. Perhaps you don’t even know you have gifts other people don’t have! Think of the talents God has given you, then see if you are using them well, or, badly.

Life is a battle! So much is packed in that. Christian life is even a more difficult battle! Why? Because we are fighting against sins of all kinds. Who wins? Believers who enlist God’s help in the fight! They can NEVER lose!

If you were God how long will you take before you punish a person for sins and wrongdoings? Sometimes God is too patient for our liking, right? Let’s take advantage of that and clean our lives.

Have you ever made a wrong choice in life? Think of the various choices you have made before you answer the question. Some people are in the wrong marriage and wrong profession. Others are even in the wrong Church!

How many hours do you work a day? Some people do eight, others less, and some more. But God is on duty 24/7 January to December year after year! Knock on His door any time, and He will open for you! So, avail yourself of the privilege and opportunity!

Genuine Christians don’t boast of their good deeds that qualify them for eternal life. They believe salvation is a free gift to them because of their faith in the Saviour Jesus Christ. No boasting

Think of the spouse you have now. Is that the person you originally wanted to marry? Also think of your present job. Is that what you wanted to do in life? Sometimes you get what you didn’t think of, and it turns out to be the better option! That’s what happened to Saul who became Paul!

It’s a sign of Christian maturity to admit your wrongdoing. After confession and repentance, then ask God’s forgiveness. Some people are too proud to say sorry Let’s learn from Daniel to admit our sins

How much money do you make a month? Is the money seen in concrete things you have done? Or, you can’t see what your money is doing? Some people work money, but don’t know why it disappears! Haggai has a message for you! Read it!
