Believers on Board

Do you know how to pray? Yes! No! You hear that from different people. All of us can pray by simply talking to God. You address God, tell Him your request in the name of Jesus, then say, Amen

What would you like someone to give you today? Most people will say, money! What can you give to others? Also money? We have other things we can give; some are better than money! Everyone has something to give! Think about it.

Do you have something that protects you from death? If yes, what is it? True believers simply trust God for their safety and protection. If you do otherwise, then you are not a Christian!

You give someone something; the person receives, and says nothing! No word of thanks. How will you feel? Bad! Will you be eager to give again to that person? No! Always be thankful to God, and to people who give something to you. Never be an ungrateful person!

Do you have enemies? Simple question, but difficult to answer. Why? Because you may have, but don’t know! If you know, the Bible says, you can use love to turn them into friends! Try and see!

Those who kill others, do they like to be killed also? No! They want to murder, then escape to safety! Unfortunately for them, the evil they leash out on others is returned to them!

Imagine you trusted a friend and gave him or her some money to keep. But later when you asked for it, instead of the money, you had fabricated stories! It’s just terrible not to be trustworthy!

Are your grandparents still alive? What of your parents? To some people, both answers are negative. Others have their old folks around. If that applies to you, tap as much as you can from their wisdom before God sends them on transfer from earth to heaven.

Are you married or single? Do you want to marry or marriage is not on your life’s time table? Whichever choice you make has both advantages and disadvantages. Let God guide you!

Some people are rich, many have just enough, but others are poor. Where do you fall? If you are not in the last group, then you qualify to give to those who don’t have! Look around, you will see them. Give and receive God’s blessings.

Some people easily give up! A task is in front of them, instead of trying to accomplish it, they are scared, so drop it. As a Christian, keep striving to be a good person. And God will enable you attain the true life of a good believer.

Who is the most important person you will like should know you personally? Your Church leader, the richest person in your society, or the President of your country? Jesus Knows you! That’s the best person to know you! Be proud!

Do you know someone who likes to boast? What does he/she boast about? Believers are free to boast, not because of their material things, but because they know and understand the Lord.

Right in our primary school days we learnt that too much of a thing is a disease. That’s true! Food, money, drinks, medicine, in excess can kill! So, choose moderation and contentment.

There’s no problem without a solution! Believers have a good God who is willing to help them out of all life’s challenges. The problem you have today, God has a solution for it tomorrow. So, be patient and trust Him

Many men have disappointed women in matters of friendship and marriage. Women have done same! I hope you are not guilty. Our God is faithful! Trust Him! He never and will never disappoint

Do you know why God created you? It was to make you His instrument. God can use your words to advise others. He can also enable you to heal people or to pray and things happen. Really? Yes!

We are each other’s keeper. I guess you have heard that. But I don’t know if you put it into practice. Have you ever taken a risk for another person? If yes, that’s love in action!

Freedom is not free! You must do something very drastic and dramatic to obtain. Believers have freedom from sin and death. That came because of the blood that Jesus shed on the cross to set them free.

What is the first school you attended? Your home! With your Dad and Mom as your first teachers, followed by house relatives. Good parents make their children proud through love, care and good upbringing among others.

The letters “LG” may stand for many things. One of them is “Life is Good”. Question: what makes life good? Peace? Money? Good health? Food? Dresses? Answer! Listen: if you don’t know Jesus, you lack something!

When you hear, you easily forget. But when you write it down, you can never forget! Why? Because you can always go back to what you wrote and make reference. Take notes on Sundays; it helps.

Here is what you already know: action speaks louder than words! But how practical is this in your life and that of those you know? Genuine believers are women and men of words and actions! Be in that group and God will bless you!

Life is more meaningful when you make sacrifices for others. But some people don’t want to think of others before themselves. Jesus calls us to deny certain things and practices if we want to follow Him. What will you give up?

God doesn’t give us a task, or, call us to do something He knows we can’t do! When He says don’t hate, He knows we can! Today, He calls us to be holy as He is holy. Can you? Yes! You can!
