at the eve of the new Bundesliga season, traditionally German football kicks off with the DFB Pokal first round where upsets are the rule and teams from lower leagues can kick out Bundesliga teams. This year, Augsburg, Bremen and Christoph's VfL Bochum were the victims.

The German Cup competitions kick off the coming season this weekend with champions Bayern München and DFB-Pokal winners Leipzig playing for the Super Cup on Saturday evening, while the first round of DFB-Pokal takes place spread out over the weekend.

BVB has taken the lead after another disastrous effort bei Tuchel's Bayern who went down 3-1 in Mainz against the second best team of the second half of the season. Meanwhile Dortmund took their chance and won their match with struggling Eintracht Frankfurt 4-0, who have fallen to 9th place. So Frankfurt can probably say bye-bye to their hopes of qualifying for the European Cup competition.

Former star midfielder Xabi Alonso has turned Bayer Leverkusen into one of the most interesting and fun to watch teams in the Bundesliga.

Dear listeners, today Raphael and Christoph have to discuss who wants it less between Bayern and Dortmund, who both messed up their games this weekend. The BVB were up two goals and one man but managed to give up 3 goals to lowly Stuttgart and end it in a 3-3 draw, while Bayern stumbled against lowly Hoffenheim and also drew the game 1-1.

On Tuesday he had to witness his Bayern fall 3-0 to Pep and the Citizens. Christoph was sensitive enough not to gloat too much, in contrast to the German Twittersphere where Bayern and especially Upamecano and Sommer where ridiculed.

This week we take a look back at all the Bundesliga action from the Easter Weekend and take a look ahead towards Bayern's Champions League matchup with Pep and the Citizens (great band name, by the way).
