The #NBAAllStar hangover is real. So much so that the BS boys had to enlist some out-of-town help to make sense of it all. Once the dust settled, the guys peeled through the wreckage of an L SZN of epic proportions (including a multi-million dollar L that might haunt the show for years to come).

Nothing says love like class warfare portrayed in Korean cinema. On the eve of Valentine’s Day weekend, the boys bask in the afterglow of Parasite’s historic Oscar win and all that it may entail for Asians in movies. After butchering some names and toasting the winners from Hollywood’s biggest night, it’s down to brass tacks, i.e. WHY ISN’T ZACH LAVINE DUNKING THIS YEAR?

There was plenty to discuss about the week that was… namely, pro foosball championship things, a latin booty battle royale, and ALL OF THE MOVIES. But on this show, nothing supersedes a good fast food tasting. Once more, the guys eat bad food, while one of the hosts eats crow… among other things (apparently).

Suffice it to say… it was all good just a week ago. To say it was a rough few days for parents and sports fans alike would be an incredible understatement. Nonetheless, the Lunar New Year brought a few slivers of light amidst an otherwise somber final week in January. Pro tip: Grab a drink and mourn w/ your boys.

It’s a good week for bad bits. There was another poor song choice, more veiled sexual innuendo, a LOT of half assed sports talk, and plenty of inadvertent first and last names uttered ad nauseum.

There are definite layers to this one. What started out as an innocuous discussion about the rise and fall (and rise again) of Zack Morris quickly down shifted into a dissection of man vs nature (in the Morbius trailer), man vs man (at UFC 246), and man vs THE MAN (as in ice vs the automotive industry). Spoiler alert: No one wins but it’s a fun listen anyway.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year… no, not the Christmas season but CES SZN! For the boys, it’s ‘No Billy, No Problem’, as they mow through all the biggest tech stories coming out of Las Vegas. Eventually, the focus turns to a CRAZY RICH week for Asians in media… and feelings are felt.

New year, new… nothing! It’s a return to form for the #BadSlantBoys in 2020. The unholy triumvirate start a new decade with recaps of the holiday season that was, the first season of the Mandalorian, and the dawn of the #RiverboatRon era in Washington football.

This one got off the rails REAL QUICK. Prominent guests Liem the Bartender and Billy the Tech-xpert are back on the podcast… at the same time! Surprisingly enough, they got along. Unfortunately, it’s all downhill from there. Honestly, this an episode that needs to be heard. Oh, and make sure to rock the vote next week.

It’s trailer SZN! The Holidays bestow a bevy of teasers for 2020’s biggest movies, and the boys have thoughts. The focus turns to holiday consumerism, when Ice sends the boys on a wild bourbon goose chase, and the @sneakersleuth sheds light on upcoming drops from Yeezy and Jordan brand. Then the ghost of Christmas past (fka Ice) reminds everyone why the first BS White Elephant was one to forget.

The tryptophan has finally worn off, and the boys are back in full swing. As the Thanksgiving holiday draws to a close, the guys take stock of all the ill-advised meals, drinks and purchases of the season before pouring one out for an Apple legend. Really, it’s all pretty tame until the chat turns to the Black Widow trailer. You might wanna turn activate ‘SafeSearch’ if we’re being honest.
